Our world is defined by space and spaces. And with some, as the one shown here, one might wonder what makes it smart in the first place. What makes it anything, really.
Many won’t see anything smart in this picture, yet it may invite to go deeper, looking beyond, into its color and detail. One of two things can then happen. A nostalgic flashback in time, wondering about past moments that happened at this very place. Or, as I often experience, an aha moment of what could be, the fabulous potential emanating from its parts, imagining the result of turning this desolate location into a smart usable space. It might offer smart looks, or incorporate smart tech, but also use its space in smart ways. All traits that makes the space inherently human, and offering some sort of comfort that all of us humans need. Today, more than ever…
